AUUM'S VISION

To build a dynamic company that is a leader in the development of scientifically-based nutritional supplements that can support health and provide targeted nutritional therapy for individuals diagnosed with chronic diseases.

THE IMPORTANCE OF OMEGA 3'S

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for human body development and performance. However, the majority of people do not consume the necessary amount of essential omega-3s in their diet, and thus require a high-quality supplement to properly support their health.

Omega-3 fatty acids are required in every cell, as they play a key role in many essential processes. These range from the development and structural maintenance of nerve cells in your brain, eyes, and body periphery, to the anti-inflammatory effects they have in other cells of the body.

AUUM omega-3 has been clinically demonstrated to increase physical performance, promote mental health, and play a unique role in preventing diabetic neuropathy.

Here are the top 10 diseases related to Omega-3 deficiency:

Cancer

Heart Disease

Stroke

Alzheimer’s

Diabetes - Published research PubMed

Obesity

Cardiovascular Disease

Multiple Sclerosis

Breast Cancer

ADD/ADHD - Important Study with Children: Auum Clinical Research Study (PDF).

This document covers the 43 conditions listed in the PDF form below as to how omega 3 benefits these health conditions. Some data from studies is included. There have been many more studies conducted on the benefits of omega 3s in various journals and papers. Click on the PDF below to view document. For study information involving 42 children over 3 years, view the dramatic results under “Studies” in Resources: called Clinical Study Presentation.

FOOD SOURCES OF OMEGA 3 FATS

What foods can we eat to naturally receive the benefits of Omega 3 fatty acids? The PDF below shows us the sources of the essential fatty acids in our daily diet. Not all Omega 3's are created equal. This is the reason people may look for a supplement to ensure they get the optimum amount of Omega 3's in their diet.

WHY AUUM?

AUUM mammalian omega-3's is structurally unique to other omega-3 products (such as those derived from fish, algae, etc.) allowing it to be absorbed under the tongue (sublingually). This permits AUUM omega-3's to quickly enter the bloodstream, without first having to pass through the digestive tract. However, AUUM omega-3’s triglyceride form provides the ideal structure for absorption in the digestive tract, to allow for maximal digestion and absorption.

AUUM oil contains DPA, an omega-3 fatty acid not present in fish oils or other shelf supplements. AUUM oil provides a full complement of omega-3 fatty acids, unlike any other.

Auum products are carefully processed using low-heat technology. All products are 3rd-party tested, and licensed with Health Canada-granted Natural Product Numbers (NPN).

KEY AUUM FACTS

Mammalian Source | Provides EPA, DHA, and DPA in the same ratio as found naturally in our bodies. It is provided in a form easily absorbed in our bloodstream to be directly utilized by our bodies.

Auum is a long chain Omega 3. DHA is a long chain (22 carbon) omega-3 fatty acid. It is found mostly in fatty fish, in small amounts in eggs, and in very small amounts in seaweed. It is a major component of the gray matter of the brain, and also found in the retina, testis, sperm, and cell membranes. The body can convert EPA into DHA.

DPA is found in great quantities in the harp seal and found in mother's breast milk.

Omega 6 to Omega 3 Ratio | Provides balance to the body in a 1:1 ratio Omega 6 to Omega 3.

Currently most people have an abundance of Omega 6 (causes inflammation) to Omega 3 (reduces inflammation). Most diets today contain at least 10:1 and up to 20:1 or even 50:1

All Diseases have an inflammatory component.

Sublingual Formulation | There is more absorption compared to ingestion of a capsule.

Raw and Whole Formulation | Un-denatured stable product. All products have been issued a Natural Product Number (NPN) by Health Canada November 2009.

Eco Conscious | Harp seals are caught in the wild and not farmed. Controls seal population, reversing depletion of fish stocks.

The Problem with Other  Sources of Omegas

Fish Oil

  • Provides Omega 6 and Omega 3 in ranges from 6:1 to 14:1 creating inflammation in the human body.

  • Provides EPA and DHA, but no DPA.

  • Due to difference in molecular structure, fish omegas won't provide the Omega 3 forms required by humans, ie. from a fish source not a mammalian source.

  • Highly processed. Contain heavy metals and other toxins. Can become rancid.

Krill Oil

  • Small short-lived fish so less time to accumulate toxins but has similar properties to fish oil.

Plant Source

  • Due to lack of conversion, plant oils do not provide the Omega 3 forms preferred by the human body.

  • Provide ALA, a short chain omega 3

MENTAL HEALTH

The brain requires essential omega-3 fatty acids for proper development and function. Many studies demonstrate a clear link between omega-3 intake and mood, depression, anxiety and optimal cognitive function. In children with mental health challenges, AUUM Sublingual-D was shown to dramatically improve communication, aggression, moodiness/frustration and participation at school.
